Effects - Circles
You usually
produce circles with a vectorial drawing program
and export them to the PhotoShop. But, this program
can also produce its proper circles or ellipses
if you prefer. In the File menu: file>New, 1x1 cm.
To visualize your file better, go to the View menu: View>Zoom
In and apply it as necessary.
With the aid
of the rulers and the strings divide the file into
many parts as you wish and give a color to each part
like the example bellow. After the bands had been made
I applied a filter Gaussian Blur with Radius 1; just to
complicate; which caused a gradient effect.

Now, in the
Select menu: Select>All. In the Edit menu: Edit>Copy.
Create a new
RGB file. File>New, 10X3 cam. It doesn't matter the
color of the background. In the menu It edits: Edit>Define
Pattern. Edit>Fill, use Pattern, opacity 100%, Normal
mode and click on Ok.

Now, in the Select menu: Select>Select
All. In the Filter menu: Filter>Distort>Polar Coordinates...
mark from Rectangular to Polar. Your effect is ready.

Now, in the
Select menu: Select>Select All. In the Filter menu:
Filter>Distort>Polar Coordinates... mark from
Rectangular to Polar. Your effect is ready.

Repeat this
effect using two colors and without the Gaussian Blur
effect in a square, and you will have perfect circles.
