Effects - Glow Text
Initiate a
new file RGB, in the File menu: File>New, 10X3 cm,
with a black background.
In The Tool
bar select the Type Tool Tooland and type "PhotoShop".
It does not matter the color provided that it is not white.
I'm going to use red. In the Layer menu: Layer>Type>Render
Layer.

In the Window
menu: Layers show, activate the Layer of the text and
click on the small arrow in the right upper corner
of the menu in Duplicate Layer. Select Preserve Transparency
in the new Layer.

Now,
in the Toll bar select the tool PaintBrush and
paint it in white.

Click on
the Layer and remove the mark of Preserve Transparency.
Now, in the Filter menu: Filter>Blur>Gaussian
Blur with Radius of 4. You can try another Radius number.

Select the
Layer with text in red and the Layer menu: Layer>Arrange>Bring
you the Front. Your effect is ready.
